Finally back again...
Okay, so I know it’s been a million years since I have updated and I certainly have no idea if I have been missed or not. In my defense, I had vacation from work and I don’t have a computer at home anymore. I have caught up on reading all of the diaries on my buddy list and I wanted to apologize to all of you that had been going through rough times and I didn’t get a chance to send some cheer to.
I have been busy lately, R and I will be moving to the house we will be purchasing by the end of the month. The house isn’t officially ours, but since it is owned by an uncle of mine he has allowed us to move in and pay him half of what we pay for rent now at our tiny apartment. Hopefully it will be an easy transition. The thought of moving into a big house after living in such closed quarters is a bit scary to me, I don’t want to let the spacious house become an excuse to not spend so much time with R, plus we both love the privacy the apartment grants us and I think we are a bit worried that we will constantly have visitors once we move. Don’t get me wrong, I love to have visitors every now and then, but not all the time.
Work is much of the same, I got a small raise at the end of the year, so my next paycheck should be at least $30 bigger, I take what I can, and jobs here in PR pay so little, I really can’t complain. I am looking into taking some tests that are required to work for the government, the pay isn’t much better than what I get paid now, but benefits are excellent and that is something to think about.
On the weight subject, I think I gained back about 5-8 pounds of the 20 that I had lost, but I am back on track hoping that since R is doing it with me this time it will be easier. We are both eating healthier plus eating our 5 small meals a day; that usually works for me. Also we have cut out the soda and candies, so maybe this time it will be easier.
And finally on to the baby department, last month we went to my doctor, he had us get some testing done, R had to have a sperm count and I had to have a sonogram, I am happy that both of the results were good, so he put me on Clomid this past month. We have been hoping that we got it on the first try, but realistically it probably won’t happen this soon, I won’t know until sometime at the end of the month. Hopefully it will work, if not we will try two more months with the dosage the Dr. gave us and if nothing happens we go back for him to double the dosage. This will go on for six months, if I don’t achieve pregnancy by July I will be referred to a specialist. So keep us in your thoughts or prayers or in whatever you believe in, just good thoughts would be welcome.
I am back; hopefully I won’t have to take so much time off without writing.
