Amazing what a week can do

It's amazing how many things can change in such a short period of time. Things have gotten so much better with R, I guess it just took a lot of talking and it will take work on a daily basis to make it work, I never realized how much our relationship would change once we had Natalia.

On the job front, I had gone to a job interview about 3 weeks ago, but hadn't gotten called for a second interview, so I honestly thought that I wasn't being considered for the job, but on thursday, after I wrote that long post, they called me in for friday morning for a second interview, but 3:00 p.m. I was offered the position. I will be paid a bit less than here, but I will have a full time job, plus it is in one of the biggest financial institutions of the area I live in and there is alot of room for professional growth. I will not have a 30 minute (without traffic) commute as I do now because I will be working in the same town I live in, going to work will take about 7 minutes. The only thing that saddens me is the fact that I love my co-workers, the friends I have made in the building, I will miss it all terribly, but my boss has made it extremely easy for me to let go of this job. I truly expected more of the relationship (professional) that we had, at least some respect. When the person who used to have my job left they had a huge going away party for her, tomorrow my boss is going to take all of my co-workers out for lunch and having the rest of the day off and I wasn't even invited, May 25th cant come soon enough. I will not miss the way I have been treated since I had the baby, but I have faith that if God chose to place me at my new job it is because that is what he had planned and that good things are yet to come.

And to top off all those great things, yesterday I tricked Natalia into sleeping the whole night in her crib by putting the t-shirt I had on as a cover for the mattress of her bassinet. It worked like a charm, she only woke up once for a feeding and when I put her in her crib she stayed there until this morning. I am so happy about this. I can't believe she will be 3 months old tomorrow. She is such a big baby too, last week we had her check-up and she was weighing 15 pounds already and it's not only chubby, she is tall also. The pediatritian was happy with the amount of feedings she is having so she said I wasn't over feeding her, it just seems she is growing alot, pretty soon I am not going to have a baby.

Any way, I just wanted to take down that gloomy entry and update with some good news.
